Adjusting your life to be a couple??

is like putting fences in the backyard so the trees and vegetable garden is protected from the dog your girlfriend brought from outside of country.

Mr. Black didn’t decide to have a dog, it’s more like he decided to deal of reality. Anarey got the dog a year ago, now Anarey will be moving back to the country after 6 months or so and she was coming here for almost 3 months, she brought the D(for the dog) with her and will leave with Mr. Black for about 3 months when Anarey goes back to finish up her stay oversea.

Anarey seems quite anxious around the “issues” with the D, trying hard not to give too much stress to Mr. Black.

Here are a min video of them putting the fence while D is sniffing around them 🙂 (D is actually really lovely and easing going dog)

Grocery Shopping: Anarey & Mr. Black

We all have different habits and routines; long distance couple like Anarey & Mr. Black have very independent habits and routines those need to be adjusted and compromised when they “temporary” live together. One of the first challenge they came across was “Grocery Shopping”.

Mr. Black: He has routine of “point and shoot” like way of shopping, have a shopping list and know where they are, trying not to go anywhere else so he doesn’t waste money and time.

Anarey: She likes look around to see what’s out there. She would like to discuss with Mr. Black what to buy-Mr. Black think that’s make a scene.

On 13th Sunday, I followed their grocery shopping but this time they went their own way and met back after the shopping is done which they said it worked better but I would like to hear more of their individual opinion here.

It will be great from anybody else how’s there “tactic” of going to shopping with your partner?!

Instoducing the 1st couple of “Couples in Action”

I’m so excited to introduce “Anarey” and “Mr. Black” as the 1st couple participating “Couple in Action”.

A little about the Anarey & Mr. Black : Anarey and Mr. Black been together for 4.5 years, long distance relationship; they spend appx. 3 months together per  year in summer and winter mostly in New Mexico where Mr. Black lives. Anarey lives out of country most of the year. They mostly communicate to each other through email, then Skype few times a month. Anarey just came back to New Mexico for the summer with her new dog D early June.

Next a month they will be posting any conflicts they come across in their everyday life, and their process of an art collaboration together on this blog. I will be posting my observation here as well. Please feel free to jump in and commenting to any of these posts!
